It gives me great pleasure to welcome NFL Alumni Dr. Joe Profit
Youth United for Prosperity: LEGEND & KIDSĀ® Young Author Program to the Tallapoosa County. The program has helped develop the spirit of creativity in our kids. Our motto is "Make them smarter, and make them Better!" "Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow!"
Our goal is to produce informed, responsible, productive citizens who will be lifelong learners. Entrepreneurs and successful contributors to society. We will accomplish this mission in cooperation with parents and the community by providing a dedicated staff and a diverse and challenging curriculum within a clean, safe, and caring environment. Our kids don't know what they don't know.
I hope this book becomes the students' first book, not their last one. I want the students to know that they may not all become Professional Athletes, but they can all become Professionals in the fields of teachers, lawyers, and doctors. Again, I would like to thank Dr. Joe Profit, the sponsors, and Youth United for Prosperity Foundation (YUP) for choosing Dadeville Elementary School.
-Superintendent
Thank you to Youth United for Prosperity Foundation (YUP) for choosing our school. We appreciate the opportunity and the experience of our children becoming published authors. Some of the Benefits and Highlights of the Young Author Program are the Emphasis is based on improving the reading and writing techniques based on the five elements. The various activities the children were involved in promote teamwork and individual imagination.
The teachers assisted the children by expounding on their creative thinking skills as they wrote and/or illustrated the different sections of the story. The children were engaged in each activity that was presented to them.
They are genuinely excited about the opportunity to be authors and illustrators of a book.
The program also strengthens the school-community bond by adding our published book to the local community library. Fortunately, We have been chosen to represent the Tallapoosa County area with this program.
